Rings - FED UP!!!!!

Hey all

A little update on my wedding ring dilemma!

My engagement ring was sent back to SMOOCH last week and I've gave them till friday 5th to return it to me resized and in good condition - no black wax left in it this time!

In the mean time apparently an "internal investigation" was going to happen as to why everything keeps going wrong.

Received a phone call last thursday to say that they appologise and ill receive a free gift..... heard nothing since!

Then yesterday low and behold another thing happens!

Our direct debit for our rings are due to come out on the 7th of each month as we get paid on the 5th.  A note was put on our account AND i received a letter stating it would be the 7th.  But yesterday I log onto my bank following a text alert to say I was overdrawn - the direct debit has come out yesterday!

I immediately emailed them asking for a manager to call me (10am) I hear nothing.  So I called them and they said they would look into it and get back to me.

I receive an email saying that they are passing my complaint to the managing director today and will get back to me! So once I hear something I will let you all know :)

        

Wedding Rings - what a faff!!!!!!!!!!

This is an update on our wedding rings......

We placed our order for our wedding rings to be designed by a company called Smooch.

An advisor came to our house on 18th February to help us choose which wedding ring we were after.

We were very impressed with our advisor who promised us the following:

- My engagement ring that had to be sent off to shape my wedding ring would probably be back within a week but at the most 3 weeks.

- 3D designs of our wedding rings would be received

- Free gifts would be received for bridesmaids (necklaces) and best man (cufflinks)

- Engagement ring would be resized free of charge (as its too big for me)

So que yesterday 27/3 almost 6 weeks after my engagement ring was sent away, I received my engagement ring back.  On the outside it was amazingly sparkly but they had left black wax in the inner part of my ring AND it had not been resized.  I was DISGUSTED!

Not only had I been completely lied too about the length of time my ring could be away (apparently its away for a MINIMUM of 3 weeks and couldnt possibily be back within a week) but then my engagement ring is returned to me in a worse state than it went away.

So I complained to the company.

Our wedding rings are costing us £1200 in total for the two rings which was double our original budget but we thought at the time it was worth it to go with a reliable company.  BOY was I wrong!!!!

Ive now had to send my engagement ring back to them and theyve promised it will be returned to me by Friday 5th April and to appologise I am getting a free gift.

Usually I wouldnt turn my nose up at a free gift but personally I think for the amount of money that we are paying them, the lies I have been told, the mistakes theyve made, the disgusting state my engagement ring was returned to me in I deserve a hell of a lot more!  & personally im betting the free gift I receive is the necklace that I'm getting free for my bridesmaids which obviously they have surplus stock of!  But I guess I'll find out on friday next week.......

I just wish Id never went with their company! 

God knows what state our wedding rings will arrive in!

We've got to pay for them in full before we get them too which im really reluctant too!  

I have no faith in SMOOCH wedding rings anymore and wish that we had chosen a different company!        

      

Wedding UPDATE

Heylo all!

So its been a bit quiet on the wedding planning lately but that all changed at the weekend :)

Me and my fiance Jay went to the wedding fair at the Metro Radio Arena and got some great ideas!

We have seen a ring company called "SMOOCH" who design rings so we will be booking an appointment with them very soon.

SNAPPARRAZZI - this is like a photo booth for our wedding which we were both interested in.  My parents have offered to pay for this as an addition for our wedding, but we've had a chat and we're going to use this extra £600 towards the decorating of the venue.  Afterall we do have a photographer there.

BALLOON MANIA - We saw this company who do every kind of balloon that is possible so we are going to be in contact with them to see how we can decorate our venue for the evening do.  We're definately going to be having the scatter balloon  - the one that pops and confetti falls over us :)

MOSS BROS - We think this is the company that Jay & his ushers are going to be gettin their suits from.  Theyre going to be grey with a cream waistcoat with silver detail on this then a pastel green cravat.

Didnt really see much invite wise so im still stumpt about that!

Then theres just honeymoon - cant book until april 2014 and little bits and bobs!

Weight Loss Week 4

Hi all

Eugh not had a great week!

Ive put 1lb back on - so im back to 12stone 5lbs! Seriously what is with me???

Kinda upset today about it all. Been asked twice in 2 days if im pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean COME ON!!!! I know I feel fat but i didnt think I was that big!

:(

So off food shopping tonight and going to get healthy stuff in for me meals!

Also going to start exercing each night too as I still havent got around to doing that either!

NEED TO GET MOTIVATED!!!!!!!!!

Weight Loss Week 3

Hey everyone

Well its not quite 2lbs off but I lost 1lb last week.

So thats 6lbs off up to now!

Dont really feel much different like fitting into clothes wise though which is getting me down.  Think its hard to stick with it when u dont see the immediate change.

I'm really trying hard to stick with it though I really want to be thin for my wedding day.

Would like to be thin for my holidays in june too but we'll see if that happens or not!

If anyone has any inspirational words that could help me out I would really appreciate it!

Wedding wise - no further forward bar Ive bought some scatter crystals and some ribbons.  Have the wedding fair on saturday at the Metro Radio Arena - so really looking forward to that!

Hoping to find everything else there and get things booked!

Weight loss up to date :)

Hi everyone :)

I got weighed on monday and im another 1lb down :) YAY!!!!

Aiming for 2lbs this week and ive lost half a stone!! Bring it on!!!

Weight Loss Week 1!!!

So so so so chuffed with myself as I've lost 4lbs last week :-)

 So I am down to 12st 6lbs, I have been here and less before so I know I can do it!

Off to have a weight watchers meal for my dinner!
